    Couples Counseling

Marital strain? Parenting conflicts? New parents?

New parents often have more frequent conflicts and less satisfaction with their relationships. Sleep deprivation, the added stress of caring for a newborn, and less time to send together can take a toll.

Counseling for difficulty bonding with baby in Melbourne, Florida

Infants and Toddlers: Ages 0 - 3 years old

Do you feel bonded with your baby? Has adjusting to life as a new parent been more difficulty than you expected?

Sometimes those intense feelings you expected to have for your baby don't happen right away. Many factors can play a role in whether you are able to bond with your baby. Factors such as having a colicky baby, feeding difficulties, or feeling overwhelmed or depressed can prevent you from developing an attachment with your child. Counseling can help strengthen your bond with your baby by improving your ability to manage stress, teaching you how to read and interpret your baby's cues, increase your knowledge of positive parenting techniques, and provide a secure environment for you to explore and strengthen your relationship with your baby.
